Expanding Presence, More Choices

RMHRPS is delighted to formally introduce our affiliate chapter in the Northwest Corridor. This affiliate will focus on issues specific to organizations in the northern communities of the Denver metro area. One way we plan to do that is to offer quality programs targeted at the needs of organizations in the Northwest Corridor. In fact, our first Northwest Corridor program kicked off on February 24, 2011.

Of course, programs in the Northwest Corridor as well as metro Denver are open to all RMHRPS members, so plan on attending the programs that best fit your interests and location. We look forward to seeing you soon!

RMHRPS Board of Directors Member Nominated for Prestigious Award

RMHRPS

Helen Oesterle Resnik, Managing Partner of Resnik Partners, is a nominee for the ATHENA Award, the highest honor awarded by the Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce. The award is given to the Colorado woman who best exemplifies exceptional professional achievement, devotion to community service and generosity in actively assisting other women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills.

“I am so honored and thrilled to be among the nominees for this year's ATHENA award,” said Resnik.  “So many women have supported me in my career, I am incredibly grateful for everything I've gained by knowing and working with the fabulous women of Colorado.”

An expert in the field of leadership development and executive coaching, Resnik holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. In addition to coaching both senior leadership teams and high-level executives individually, she has led the expansion of Resnik Partners’ practice globally with her colleagues at Career Partners International and serves on the Board of Directors of Rocky Mountain HR | People and Strategy and as the Vice-Chair for the Board of Advisors of Dress for Success Denver.

ATHENA Award finalists and the ultimate award recipient will be chosen by a special panel of business and community leaders and announced at a black-tie gala to be held on April 26 at the Hyatt Regency downtown.

As one of just 23 outstanding women nominated for the award, Resnik joins a slate of prominent Colorado women recognized by the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce. Past ATHENA winners include Mimi Roberson, President and CEO of Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center and Paula Herzmark, Executive Director of the Denver Health Foundation.
